The Contribution Ladder is a behavior-based, analytical framework for understanding how contributors participate over time. These stages describe patterns of participation, not contribution value. Progression is not required or expected. We added an example of a ladder, but you can change it as needed. Learn more on the About page.

Different Make WordPress teams have different contribution activities. Customize the ladder to match your team’s context: edit titles, reorder steps, add or remove activity requirements, and adjust thresholds. Apply navigates to a shareable URL that encodes your ladder definition — copy that URL to share.
